Importance of Health and Beauty

Healthy Diet:
Beauty and health benefit from a varied diet rich in fruits and vegetables with moderate amounts of protein and carbohydrates and limiting sugar and fat. By following a balanced diet, you will not only keep your weight, cholesterol, and blood pressure under control, which will make you healthier, but you will also maintain clear and healthy skin, hair, and nails, which will enhance your beauty. It is recommended that you consume at least five portions of fruit and vegetables per day, two portions of fish per week, lean protein, pulses, and wholegrain foods. Be careful not to consume too much salt, since it may raise your blood pressure and cause strokes or heart disease. Salt should not be consumed in excess of 6g per day by adults and children older than 11.

An Active Lifestyle:
It is crucial to have an active lifestyle so that you can maintain your beauty and health. Exercise will not only help you to lose weight, but also reduce the risk of chronic health problems such as asthma, type 2 diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and stroke. Even if you don't go to the gym every day, being active every day can bring a number of benefits to your health, such as taking the stairs instead of the elevator or parking further away from your destination. You can also walk your dog every day to get more activity. You should find an activity that you enjoy doing. You can work out with a friend, go for a walk in a beautiful place, dance to an aerobics DVD, or even swim in the ocean.

Drink More Water:
The amount of fluid you should consume daily is about 1.2 liters to prevent dehydration. Every day, a person loses water through skin evaporation (sweat), breathing, urine, and stool, and these losses must be replaced. A diet rich in water-rich food will help you to lose weight as it is more filling than a diet rich in salty foods. Drinking water helps to maintain the balance of body fluids, which aid digestion, circulation, and body temperature. For a beautiful, hydrated complexion, it is also essential. Drinks such as water, milk, and herbal tea count, but alcoholic drinks, sugary soft drinks, and even fruit juice should be avoided.
